Chaotic storage - Order preparation
When chaotic storage is enabled, Order preparation requires that all the products you are going to ship are available in the current warehouse, in a specific location.
The location that will be used for shipping is configurable at the bottom of the order preparation page:
Note: each packer can have a different packing location, this setting is saved at user level
Then when you will ship an order, the system will automatically create a stock movement from the "Packing location" to "blank".
When you confirm the packing, if products are not available in the packing location, you will get an error message:
If everything runs well, the stock movement will decrease quantity from the packing location:
Note: to mass move products to the Packing location, you can use the picking mission menu on the mobile app
