Chaotic storage - Slotting

Overview


If you are using the chaotic storage feature (ie: a product can be in several location in one warehouse), the slotting menu on the mobile app will help you to move products inside the warehouse or to another warehouse.

To access the feature, select menu "Chaotic slotting" from the mobile app.

First you will be asked to select the source warehouse and the target warehouse. Then depending of your selection, different scenario will be available. Click on the one you need to start:



In the next screen you could start to scan and move products.


Example - Move products inside a chaotic warehouse 

This scenario applies when you need to re-organize the warehouse.
First you must select the same warehouse for the source and target:


In the next screen, scan the product barcode you want to move and scan the location where you picked the product:


Then scan the location where you move the product:



Once you have scanned the target location the move is added on the screen:



If you want to move more than one unit, then click on the product and update the quantity:



Once everything is done, you must validate with the button in the bottom right corner:



That will generate the stock movements to apply the changes in the system.
