Image is missing on product(s)

This article explain how to check if an image has been imported for a product, and also how to ask Connect to import the missing images.

Check image import status


Go into the integration where is the product with the missing image : Menu > Integrations > Manage integrations > Your integration > Products tab 
Here are listed the products for the current integrations.



  1. Image import processed : indicates if Connect tried to download the image or not.
Note : this value will change to yes, even if Connect is not able to retrieve an image

  1. Has image : indicates if Connect succeed to get the image

Force image Import


To force image import, process as follows : 
  1. Apply filter on "Image import processed" = Yes, and "Has image" = No
  2. Select all records or only the product on which you want to re import the image with the checkbox in the first column
  3. Select mass action "Reset image imported"





Once it's done, products will be "flagged" to import image again.

Now, go into the 'Feeds' tab from the integration and run the 'Import product images' feed.



Go into Menu > Products, filter the grid with the product sku and check if the images appear correctly.

Magento2

By default, boostmyshop will try to download the product image from url https://www.yourwebsite.com/pub/media/catalog/product

However, depending of your magento configuration, the correct URL maybe different (ie : https://www.yourwebsite.com/media/catalog/product)

In such case, go within the Magento2 integration, select tab "Configuration" and scroll down until the "PRODUCT IMPORT SETTINGS" section.

Then, change the default url path : 



Once changed, save integration and run image update process as explained above.
