Magento 2 - Magento1 to Magento2 Migration

Magento 2 - Magento1 to Magento2 Migration

This article describes the prerequiresites to migrate a MyFulfillment account from Magento1 to Magento2.

Note : the migration process is charged 1199 euros by Boostmyshop.

Prepare Magento2 platform

The new Magento2 website must preserve the same product ID (entity_id) between magento1 and magento2.

Also, it is recommended to install the Magento2 MyFulfillment module

The magento2 website must be available through the web without any HT access protection : this is required to get the Magento2 API working with Boostmyshop.

Once the website is ready (but not live yet), please provide url / login / password to boostmyshop so we can do a connection test

Go live with Magento2

When you are ready to go live with Magento2, please contact us to schedule a go live date.

Then we will :
  1. Disable the Magento1 integration (meaning that no orders will be imported from Magento1 anymore)
  2. Configure the Magento2 integration
  3. Attach Magento1 products in MyFulfillment to the Magento2 integration
  4. Enable Magento2 synchronisation (export stock levels and import orders)
  5. Configure Magento2 integration to import only M2 new orders

Notes :
  1. Magento1 orders shipped after the go live will NOT be confirmed as shipped to Magento2
  2. If you have a large catalog (> 2000 skus), it is recommended to move product quantities from Magento1 to Magento2
  3. No down time is expected for MyFulfillment, your team can continue to use it
