Manual order creation

Overview

This article explains how you can create a new order manually in myFulfillment.

Commonly, orders in myFulfillment are imported from CMS or marketplaces.

This manual order creation feature is designed to create new orders in such cases:

Order created manually are not synced to the CMS or the marketplace

The create order feature can be accessed from 2 places:

From the sales order grid (menu sales > orders), click on the "Create new order" button in the bottom right corner
From the sales order grid, click on the "Action menu" for an order and select option "Duplicate":

In both cases, a popup opens where you can configure and create the new order.

If you select duplicate action, the popup is automatically pre-filled with the original order details

The create order popup is divided into 6 sections

Here you can enter customer details.

If the customer doesnt exist yet, it will be created otherwise the system will use the existing customer (based on the email address)

You can also use the button to select an existing customer

Here you can select the store where the order will be created and the currency.

Fill both addresses for the order. You can copy the shipping address into the billing address if it is identical.

Here you can select the payment and shipping methods.

To modify the shipping method, click on the button, edit the shipto address and click on the refresh button to list the rates.

Last, click on the "select" button to select a rate

Add here the products using the "add products" button:

In this last section, you can enter notes.

This note will be added as an organizer in the order
