Order import settings

Order import settings

For every integrations you can find a specific section to import orders depending of their order status :

Menu > Integrations > Manage Integrations > Your integration > Configuration > Order import settings

Order states

There are 2 important columns:
The first one "Import" is the import rule to apply for every order statust
The second "Retry" is to say if Connect should check if order status has changed to a valid one to import.

Do not import new orders with this status
Import
Do not use this rule
Import as valid
Import new orders with this status.
Orders imported will have status "Processing" into Connect,
and will be dispatched into the Order preparation into "In Stock" or  "Partial" or "Backorder" tabs depending of products stock,the product stock will be reserved if available.
Import and invoice
Import new orders with this status, an invoice into Connect will be created once order is imported.
Orders imported will have status "Processing" into Connect,
and will be dispatched into the Order preparation into "In Stock" or  "Partial" or "Backorder" tabs depending of products stock,the product stock will be reserved if available.
Import and cancel 
Import new orders with this status, orders will be imported and marked as canceled into Connect, (product stock won't be reserved).
Import and hold
Import new orders with this status.
Orders will be imported and marked as holded into Connect.
Orders will be dispatched into the "On hold" tab from the Order preparation, product stock will be reserved
Import and complete
Import new orders with this status.
Orders will be imported and marked as complete into Connect, products will be marked as shipped into Connect,meaning that a stock movement will be created for each products for this shipment.
An invoice and a shipment will be created for the orders into Connect.
An order can't be imported if one of the product into the order has not enough available quantity into Connect.
Import as history
Import new orders with this status.
Orders will be imported and marked as complete meaning that product will be marked as shipped into Connect, but stock movement will not be created to decrease the stock.
An invoice and a shipment will be created for this order into Connect.

Description
Yes
Connect will check if the order status on your CMS (Magento, Prestashop..) has changed to an order status you defined to be imported into Connect.
If the order status changed to a status defined to be imported, Connect will import the order.
No
Connect will not check if the order status on your CMS (Magento, Prestashop..) has changed to an order status you defined to be imported into Connect.
Connect will not try to import order even if order status changed.
