Overview
This article explains how to configure rules to easily generate order batches in Order preparation.
Enable the feature
By default the feature is not enabled, to do it click on the settings icon in the top right corner, and enable the "Batch helper" feature from the "myFulfillment V2" tab:
Create your rules
To manage rules, click on the settings icon in the top right corner, select tab "Order preparation" and click on button "Configure" for Automatic batch rules:
In the next screen you could see existing rules or create a new rule:
When you create or edit a rule, you could see several settings.
For each rule, the system will consider only orders matching all the conditions configured, and then will create batches.
- General tab
- Rule name: give a clear name to your rule
- Enabled: enable the rule if you want to use it later
- Priority; not used for now
- Notes: free comments
- Conditions tab
- Global section
- Warehouse: warehouse where the rules is applicable
- Available order count: the rule will run only if the total number of orders matching conditions are in the range
- Orders
- Stores: select stores for orders
- Shipping methods: select shipping methods for orders
- Product count: number of items in the orders
- Country of destination: select order countries
- Postcode of destination: select order postcodes
- Products
- Contains sku: if you fill skus here, only orders having these skus will be selected
- Contains product category: if you fill categories here, only orders having products with these categories will be selected
- Actions tab
- Action to perform: Create batch (only this option is enabled)
- Maximum order count in batch: This is the maximum of orders in a batch. If the count of orders matching to conditions exceeds this number, several batches will be created
Run the rules

Note: currently, it is not possible to schedule the rule execution automatically, this will come shortly
To create the batches based on rules, go in menu Sales > Order preparation and click on the "Batch helper" button at the bottom:
In the popup you will see all rules available, click on button "Execute":
This will create the batches and refresh the screen.
