Setting up a connected Scale
You can interface a digital scale with BoostMyShop Connect to validate the weight of your shipments before the generation of your shipping label.
1/ Install a connected scale (USB, RS-232) on your order picking station
Example of compatible scales : Dymo S50, Dymo S100.
2/ Install HID Scale Wedge Software (freeware available)
3/ Setup HID Scale Wedge
Open the software settings
Fill in the string "SCALE" in the field "Keystrokes before the Weight"
Configure options according to your needs
HID Scale software
4/ Weight your package before validation of your shipment to fill in the weight of the connected scale
The weight of the weighed package will be automtically filled in the packing page
