Shipping label doesn't print

This article is a guide to understand why a shipping label is not automatically printed when you confirm the packing

1. Check if shipping method is associated to a shipping template

When you pack an order, the shipping label is automatically generated if the order shipping method is associated to a shipping template.

An easy way to check if a shipping template is associated to the current shipping method is to check if there "Shipping label" button is visible once the packing is confirmed:

If not, you must configure the carrier from the "Wizards" menu

2. Check if the shipping label is properly generated

To check if the shipping label has been generated, simply refresh the page and check if you have a tracking number:

If yes, the shipping label has been properly generated, if not you might have an error message explaning why the label couldnt be generated.

3. Check if the shipping label is automatically downloaded in the browser

To be printed automatically, the shipping label must be downloaded in the browser.

To force the download, you can click on the "shipping label" button and you should see it in the browser download list:

You can also check if the option to automatically download the shipping label when packing is confirmed is enabled: click on the settings icon in the top right corner, then select tab "Order preparation"

Go in section "Packing" and make sure this option is enabled:

4. Check if Boostmyshop Autoprint is opened

If the shipping label is properly downloaded but nothing is printed automatically, you must first make sure that the Boostmyshop Autoprint software is opened:

5. Check if Boostmyshop Autoprint is triggered

If Boostmyshop Autoprint is running, the shipping label download should add an entry in Boostmyshop Mobile:

If the Boostmyshop Autoprint window stays empty, it probably means that the download directory is not properly configured.
Click on the "Configuration" button in BMS Autoprint and fix the download directory:

Then save and open it again.

If you see "File ignored" in the BMS window, it means that the shipping label filename is not configured to be printed.

Open the configuration window and add a line with the shipping label file name (without extension neither dynamic numbers):

Then save and open it again.
