This functionality is available only for the PrestaShop integration. We find this functionality on the Sales >> Order >> Choose the order >> Split order button.
Criteria for Split order:
1) If you are splitting an order with the kit product. Please make sure you don't split the kit products between the splitted orders. Products from the same kit must remain in the same order.
2) Order should not be in the In-Progress state.
3) Order should not be created with invoice or shipments.
Working of Split order:
1) On the Sales >> Order >> Choose the order. Select the products you wanted to create a split order.
2) Once the order has been created as Split, the Order reference number will be appended with -2.
3) You can now process the split order from Order-preparation screen. These orders will be reserved a product from the warehouse too.
At the top left of Order detail screen, you will find the information of Split order - related to which parent order.
