How to secure myFulfillment
Overview
This section explains the different mechanisms available in myFulfillment to secure your accounts.
Assign roles to users
myFulfillment supports different predefined roles for users
It is recommended to have only one user with "Account administrator" role, all other users should have a more restricted role to avoid any issue.
Enable MFA / 2FA
MFA for Multilple Factor Authentication is a mechasnim requiring user to authenticate using 2 different methods.
myFulfillment supports 2FA Authentication with:
- A first regular login with email & password
- A second code (OTP) sent by email
You can enable MFA at user level:
- Click on the settings icon in the top right corner
- Select tab "users"
- Search for the user and select action "Edit" from the dropdown in the last column
- Then under the "security" section, enable MFA
If a user has MFA enabled, the login workflow is the following:
1. Regular login
2. Email received with OTP
3. Fill OTP and login
Enable login IP restriction
To prevent users to log in myFulfillment outside of your office / warehouse, you can restrict the IP addresses from which a user can log in from.
To assign restricted IP addresses for login to a user, follow these steps:
- Click on the settings icon in the top right corner
- Select tab "users"
- Search for the user and select action "Edit" from the dropdown in the last column
- Scroll down and fill allowed IP addresses for login:
Once done, user could not login from an IP address not whitelisted here.
